A very high quality signed giclee print of a recently completed oil painting from popular Glasgow artist James Dinnen. The print is on artists portrait 310 gsm paper and mounted with a backing board , The Apollo was the main theatre for rock bands in Glasgow throughtout the 1970's into the 1980s.
All the big bands which now fill stadiums played at this modest theatre in the centre of Glasgow. Long demolished , it is now remembered very fondly by many Glaswegians as a place where they first saw some world class bands for what now seems very little money compared to todays gig ticket prices.
An ideal present for a gift for the avid west of Scotland rock fan who looks back with a tear in his eye when music seemed a more simple affordable night out . The bill board can be personalised to any group and date of a gig if known.
( there is an Apollo site online which has dates for most gigs through the 70/80's )
I can also add a name to the side of the van to personalise it a bit more to suit the customer
