A few years ago on a very long train trip to Manchester and to pass the time, a dear friend of mine decided to teach me how to crochet. I couldn't get the hang of it at first, but stuck to it and finally the penny dropped! I was then hooked (pun intended) and make all kinds of lovely soft crochet things. The one thing I make that gets the most use and is loved universally by everyone who who's got one is my crocheted dishcloth - honestly, once you've used one of these, you'll never go back to mass-produced dishcloths again!
