I love using beautiful fabrics to create beautiful things at my little studio in Wales within close proximity to this magnificent sea.

I am a self-confessed fabric addict and have been since I was about 7 years old when I was just old enough to handle a needle and thread. Fabrics have been my love and my sewing machine my favourite buddy, i could not be without either of them.
Soft furnishings for the home such as curtains, roman blinds, pelmets, cushions are just some of the items I have been making for many years. I also make bags of every size and shape from a variety of my favourite fabrics namely wool, wool felt, leather, cotton, and my all time favourite linen.
My other makes include baby clothes, cot quilts, dribble bibs, nappy bags, nappy stackers to name just a few.
I've made panto costumes, fancy dress costumes, weding and bridesmaid dresses as well as clothes for myself and my children.
Christmas is a time when I have lots of requests for making bespoke Christmas Stockings which I really love doing as I can be as creative as I like with the appliqued shapes,and special buttons and trims not to mention all the gorgeous fabrics to choose from.
All my sewing is done in my own little studio at home where I can sew and create to my heart's content.
When I'm not sewing I love to go down to the promenade which is just a mile away from us, where I can sit and look at the sea or watch the fishermen casting their nets, listen to the sound of the waves crashing over the rocks - this is a time for me to day- dream and think about all the lovely ideas that come to me for my next creations.
I feel very blessed to have such a totally fulfilling past-time, and to have a wonderful husband without whose encouragement and understanding I would not be able to spend so much of my time doing what i love most.
