Hello I'm Aileen based in Warrington Cheshire and I have been making and selling jewellery since 2010 previously on Folksy other online shops and at various craft fairs in the North West. I took a break for a few years due to be being diagnosed with the eye problem P. V. D in 2013 that prevented me from making my jewellery. I returned to selling online last year as my eyesight has improved and I am now returning to Folksy with this new shop.
I always had a desire to make jewellery and it all started for me by chance on my first cruise to the Canaries in November 09 during a force 11, 400 sq mile weather system. With an extra day on board and to stop feeling seasick for an hour or so I joined in a beaded necklace making session and was hooked.
My main passion is creating elegant necklaces for evening wear to compliment a beautiful evening dress.
In case you are wondering where Carrieanne comes from it is because of my life long love of the 60's group The Hollies whose concerts I regularly attend around the UK and Europe.
