Yep, here it is... a step by step guide to creating the perfect home for your works in progress – and more besides! There’s pockets for needles, patterns and yarn, plus a fancy-smancy zip and options for two different handle styles. Choose ultra firm interfacing for a sturdy, stand-up version, or wadding for a softer, more cuddly feel – the choice is yours!
Materials:
- Outer fabric (bag body and base): 115cm or 150cm wide: 60cm
- Lining fabric: 115cm or 150cm wide: 90cm
- Accent fabric (for handle tabs, zip pocket and yarn pocket): 115cm or 150cm wide: 50cm
- For firm version: ultra firm stabilizer iron-on interfacing (e.g. Peltex by Pellon) 50cm wide: 130cm
- For soft version: wadding 90cm wide: 120cm
- Notions: 2.5cm wide bias binding: 1 metre, 1cm wide elastic: 60cm, 15cm zip, 1.25 cm wide ribbon or trim for zip pocket decoration: 44cm
- For round handle version: 1 pair of 5” diameter round bag handles
- For tape handle version: 2.5cm wide webbing or twill tape: 125cm, 14mm eyelets: 4
