About this item
Dorset buttons were made by hand in the UK several centuries ago, but their appeal diminished when button making machines came into existence. This kit contains all you need to try your hand at this very old craft - 4 x 30mm brass rings, yarn and tapestry needle, plus full illustrated instructions. The yarn is 100% acrylic and due to yarn variation no two buttons will ever be exactly the same. Apart from using these lovely buttons on clothing, they lend themselves very easily to other crafts, especially jewellery making.
