Bluebells spilling out of the wood and down the hillside form the focus for the design of this brooch, which has been hand-appliqueed and embroidered. The bluebells, in the foreground are embroidered using silk ribbons. A border of crocheted braid is applied to the brooch, the colours blended to match those of the design. The oval shape is reinforced with recycled plastic from a bottle. Felt is used to neaten the back. A brooch pin is stitched securely in place. Dimensions: Width - 7 cm. approx.
