About this item
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. It is a cobweb or a spider's web made from iridescent glass, very shiny and with some streaky and some corded to give lots of movement. In the middle I have captured a raindrop, a big multi-faceted glass crystal attached to the web by a little chain so it can move. Hanging in the window it catches the light and when the crystal catches the sunlight it will glitter beautifully. It hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the web which measures 14cm diameter. This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass. If you prefer another colour please let me know.
