This lovely Spring bunting has been upcycled from a discarded copy of the beautiful book, The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady by Edith Holden. In 1906, Edith Holden recorded in words and paintings the flora and fauna of the British countryside through the seasons. This bunting has been made from some of her gorgeous Spring pictures.
This listing is for ONE bunting with 8 scalloped circle flags, each 9 cm in diameter. We have 3 of these available. The bunting you receive may be different from those in the photos but each bunting will have a gorgeous selection of spring flowers and birds.
Each of these garlands is threaded with wool. If the flags were placed end to end on the wool, the bunting would be 80cm long. We’ve included an additional 2m of wool so that you can spread the flags out if you want to – they slide easily – there will still be plenty of wool to hang up the bunting.
The banner is designed to be viewed from one side only and isn't really suitable for use outdoors – well, it IS paper after all!
We have triangular and heart shaped bunting and confetti made from this gorgeous book. Perfect for a wedding.
