Meet the maker

Based near Cambridge, I design and carve my lino blocks before hand printing onto Japanese paper. My favourite is a mid weight (70 gsm) slightly off-white called Inbe Epais which I now almost exclusively use. I only produce a small number of prints at a time (typically 6) so you are guaranteed to have something very unique.

My style is influenced by old railway posters of the London Underground and similar art-deco advertising.

The name ChickenUniverse (because the world is not enough) was inspired by a desire to re-home some battery chickens. I am currently at stage "Hatching".

The previous stages were "Egg" and "Incubation"
