Meet the maker Laura Johnson

My jewellery emerged from my belief in the importance of beauty and the fact that it should not cost the Earth.

Aiming to run the most environmentally friendly workshop as possible I use recycled sterling silver, recycled copper and found objects, mainly sea glass and sea pottery collected near my home in the beautiful Scottish Borders and Northumberland.

My favourite pieces of jewellery I have made are the wedding rings my husband and I wear and it is such a joy to be able to offer ethical jewellery for such special purposes like wedding rings!

I do not use any animal derived products or polishes in my work, therefore my jewellery is suitable for vegetarians.

I hope you like what you see and do get in touch if you have any queries.
