Meet the maker Julie Green

I'm a mum of two grown up 'people' and recently gave up 9 to 5 work in order to concentrate on looking after the guests that visit the Airbnb studio attached to the house we recently moved to in Bath. I love doing that, but I wanted to find some other occupation to keep me busy when I'm not busy with the studio. I've always loved repurposing fabrics and stuff and making my pouffes has given me that outlet. I use recycled fabrics, t-shirt yarn remnants and carpet offcuts to create bright, colourful and extremely comfortable pouffe footstools. It was a joy to discover that other people liked what I had made. Moving online was a huge step for me, but I'm hoping that in a modest way, I can make a go of it.
