Meet the maker Ewa Pandera

I was born and raised in an industrial part of Poland in Gliwice where I finishes my secondary education. In 1999 I started Art Education at the University of Silesia in the picturesque town of Cieszyn where I graduated in December 2004 with a specialization in etching.
In years 2002 - 2003 I participated in a one year ceramic course. I discovered that clay was very elastic and offered many possibilities of creative expression.

In years between 2005 and 2007 I was living in various places: Krakow, Poland, Paphos, Cyprus and London, United Kingdom.
Then in 2007 I settled down in St Ives, Cambridgeshire and establish family.
Since 2009 I have worked at Sawtry Community College mainly in the Art Department. Working at SCC allowed me to continue my passion for pottery.

In March 2013 I decided to set my own Pottery Studio, I enjoyed the challenge of exploring aesthetic balance with functional forms.
