Meet the maker Norma Brooks

Back in 2012 I went along with my daughter, who was really keen, to make a silver ring. A rather relucant participant, totally ill-prepared without a clue what I was going to do.......
now I am totally hooked. I am constantly inspired and encouraged by the idea of taking a flat piece of metal or a length of wire and by sawing, hammering, soldering or rivetting that it is possible to create a beautiful piece of jewellery.

I am always eager to learn new techniques that I can incorporate into my designs and therefore my pieces evolve as I include new ideas. Bezel and tube set stones and torch fired enamel enables me to add colour while etching, embossing and hammering create texture.

I work from my home in Oxfordshire where I design, make, photograph, market and ship everything myself.
