Westray unique and hand crafted items

Westray is a stunningly beautiful island with very talented folk living on it. When i moved here, i was astounded at the hidden talents many of these folk had and this is the driving ethos of this folksy shop........for their talents to be seen, sold and enjoyed by others.

My personnel crafts are mainly sheep based as i'm a shepardess involved in the family run sheep farms on the pastures of westray. Looking after these wooly beasts, inevitably there is success, failures and maintance work to be done which leaves beautiful goods usually going to waste, mainly fleeces and hides that are so soft, unique, useful and tacktile that ive learnt the art of making them into items that can be enjoyed by anyone interested.
