Hello there,
I'm Rainy - a maker, designer, editor, mum and smallholder.
The sheep here on my smallholding provide me with the ultimate in renewable materials - their fleece.
With a cup of coffee in hand, I make the four step commute outside to my workshop. The wood burner keeps me warm on colder days, and the sheep and chickens are only a few feet from my window.
Here I might be cleaning a raw fleece ready for use, designing patterns, planning workshops, sitting at my spinning wheel creating hand spun yarn or putting articles together for British Fibre Art Magazine.
Making things sustainably brings peace to my soul and joy to my heart.
I'd like you to experience that feeling too.
