When designing I'll have music on, something classic by Bill Withers! My ideas drawn on paper, with a color scheme and font idea in my head.
I'll then play with these until I find a design that is emotive and stunning. The design needs to say 'That looks amazing!' or if you are giving the design as a gift, the receiver say 'Thank you so much!'. I won't stop until it does!
I'm inspired by London as it is a mixture of cultures. Each culture bringing their own identity. These identities come tasty foods, emotive music, patterned clothing, vivid colors and visual art. It's amazing!
There's always something in London to taste, feel, touch, hear or see; inspiration as wide as this city. But let me not be naive, London is a harsh place as well at times, and if I only discuss one side of it, I would be disowning the other. It is also gritty, expensive, and at times a desolate place. Growing up in London has inspired the art that I create.
