Hi all at 70 years young I am new to selling on line and find it a bit scary to be honest!
My wonderful mum taught me my skills in knitting, crochet and sewing. Always wanting to learn I also learnt wood burning and upcycle items.
I live and work on the North East Coast at Scarborough designing and making items in between working as a cook in a care home.
I should be retired but I lost the love of my life in 2024 and had to leave our lovely farmhouse as it was left to his daughter.
I enjoy cooking for the ladies and gentlemen in the care home and getting to know them but my favourite hours are spent creating.
It takes considerable time to plan my next piece and as I believe hand made should be truly special I only ever make one of an item.
