I've tried to keep the embroidery as quick and as fresh as the original sketch, despite the stop/start nature of free motion embroidery. this slip cover itself is made from heavy weight calico which has been pre-washed several times so it's soft and should not shrink when washed. it measures approximately 12cm wide x 18cm tall (6.5" x 4.5") and is washable & reusable, simply replace the A6 sketchbook when it's full. the cover is stiffened with interfacing, and the seams are overlocked and topstitched. the sketchbooks are manufactured in the UK - quality casebound hard cover books, containing all-media cartridge paper. i'm a traditional nerd: there's no computer wizardry here - this piece was sewn entirely on a domestic sewing machine from my hand drawn original pencil sketch. everything is cut, stitched and handmade, with care, by me, ensuring it is unique, well made and securely constructed. items usually despatched within 12 hours, and will be sent with royal mail's tracked 48hour service (no signature required) © fiona thomson 2026 fionaT Wed, 05 Aug 2026 13:09:37 +0000 https://folksy.com/items/8678063 https://folksy.com/items/8678063 A6 free hand embroidered floral notebook - red echinacea
