self employed carpenter making bits and pieces and trying to sell bits and pieces

i have been a qualified carpenter for over 20 years but have been a supermarket worker for 16 years.i recently was laid off from the supermarket so i now have the time to pursue my lifelong ambition of making wooden products and selling them to the public.I work from a small one man workshop which is about 2 meters from the backdoor of where i live so i can still work and look after my two children Ella and Samuel.and hopefully teach them some carpentry skills along the way.i make small items (trinket boxes and small wooden platters and other craft items)so i can post them with ease.as i have found the postman is not impressed with trying to deliver a set of tables and chairs.I mostly reuse timber from old furniture not only is this good for the environment but also works out to be cheaper then buying new timber and save's it from the local landfill site which to me is a needless waste of resources.I was raised in east London but moved to Cornwall in 1998 and absolutely love living the country life.Although its completely different to city life.I can say that the quite and stress free life agrees with me very well.
