I specialise in affordable and unique gifts, all created with love and a commitment to design and manufacturing, and all fully customisable.

Before I created Forever MopTop, I bought generic gifts for friends and family which were nice enough, but a bit ‘samey’ and lacked sentiment.

Then one day I bought a baby shower gift for my best friend in the whole world, and not one, but two other friends had bought her the exact same gift!

That’s when I vowed to make gifts and decor which would be both sentimental and unique, and that’s when Forever MopTop was born.

I was concerned about the price point of the pieces because of the cost of the expensive materials, and worried this might turn off people in search of a gift or decor product.

But then…

after several gift givers came back to me telling me the recipient of their gifts were brought to tears from receiving such a special piece, I realised I was on the right path after-all.

I decided I set out to create the most unique, quality based and lovingly made gifts for the most deserving and special people of all ages in the UK.

It turns out…

The road was more difficult than I imagined.
Suppliers of my materials were difficult to find and they didn’t want to negotiate on a price so I could sell the pieces at a price point gift givers would happily agree to.
Potential customers questioned…

the quality of my items even though the materials were hand picked by myself and held up in every aspect. They saw alternative lower quality, but cheaper options on auction sites and social media sites and wondered why I couldn’t offer my products at similar prices.

Because of this, I started offering several pieces on a ‘try before you buy’ basis as well as offering large commission incentives to friends and family willing to host ‘Forever MopTop Gift Parties’ from their home.

This finally started opening doors into more and more events such as baby showers and Hen parties, and word was getting around about the quality of our gifts and home decor.

I unfortunately then lost a very close friend to cancer…

Whilst she was ill, I had made her special inspirational gifts to help encourage her to fight her battle.
Unfortunately, the cancer was terminal and we lost our amazing strong warrior less than two years later at the age of 45. But even though I knew my wonderful friend couldn’t enjoy the keepsakes anymore, I knew we had to keep making beautiful gifts for adults and children alike to make them smile and feel special.

Through it all, we released our first products and the response has been astounding.

The best part?

We have built Forever MopTop into something quite unique and beautiful and I know my friend would be so, so proud!

Side-note…

Forever MopTop is named aptly after my daughter Mollie. From the age of around 12 months (as soon as she had a tuft of hair which was long enough to be secured in a bobble), I used to style her hair in a top-knot. Her grandma gave her the nick-name ‘Mollie Mop Top’, or ‘Mop Top’ for short, and she still gets called this now, at the age of 22.
