Bristol and its surroundings offers such photogenic views that I never leave the house without my trusty camera. I have framed many a picture in the past but one day I thought it would be nice if I could find a way to add a backlighting system for my pictures to glow in low lighting. I scoured the internet to find the best LED lights and tried several types of fine art papers to allow the light to shine through softly.
I also wanted to build the light boxes myself and having no experience in woodworking whatsoever, I took a series of lessons to learn the basics and discover the fabulous tools needed.
Made by hand, all of my lightboxes are unique. Made in pine wood ( a sustainable soft wood), they are mains connected and bring a warm and soft light to any room you choose to have them in. The LED lights inside do not create heat and make my lightboxes safe to use in a child's bedroom.
I find my inspiration in the beautiful scenes and landscaped of Bristol but also in Paris where I am originally from. I have have turned my best photographs into beautiful wooden lightboxes and I hope you will like them to!
