Crochet in all its forms.

A chance meeting at a craft fair thirty five years ago brought together two people who were working from home. Sandie who had moved from Shropshire and Sandra who had moved from West Wales to East Wales. We had both moved to a new area and it was our first craft fair. Sandie was exhibiting baby clothes and I was hopefully going to sell crochet table mats and pressed flower cards and pictures, both I must add were “ on trend” at the time.
Over the years we have sold many different items at dozens of craft fairs, we have supplied Aston Villa football club with padded coat hangers with their club colours and logo and also Pastimes with padded hangers covered in lace and beads. Until recently we have supplied crocheted items to a couple of small gift shops unfortunately due to the coronavirus both shops have decided to close.
We also crochet for charity through our local “knit and natter” group and make for the local hospital’s children’s and alzheimer wards.
Today we are still good friends and crocheting and producing handmade items for on online stores.
Tumblebumps are imaginary beings that live in hedges and fly on the back of blackbirds, stories told by a loving grandfather to spellbound grandchildren who all have different ideas of what a Tumblebump looks like and how they live, quite amazing.
