all things Textiles, functional as well as art work

I love everything Textiles. I like to try out new techniques and over the years have been on many courses experimenting and trying out, learning from a range of Textile artists. I like to push myself in all kinds of directions so I keep learning. With my knowledge I like to create both practical products like bags and jewelry but I also like to to create artworks, be it two or three dimensional.
Currently everything I do is made on the kitchen table or if it is very big, the kitchen floor. Luckily my family are very tolerant of me! I am inspired a lot by nature especially the coast, as I live near the sea. Colour also inspires me. Not any particular colour but the combination and the effect they have on your mood and how it makes you feel. My family are nearly grown up so I hope to have more time to produce lovely products and hope that you like my products too.
