Buying from me
These little ( very approx. 12 x 18 cm) bags are made at my home 'St Mary Cote' of Liberty's Tana Lawn. Each one is labelled with the name and date of the design. The seams are sewn by me using a 1930's Singer treadle sewing machine and the ends are oversewn by hand to make the bags more robust. The ribbons are good quality double sided satin and the ends are treated so that they don't fray. I make these bags in pairs but if there's only one for sale its companion has been sold.
They are more than gift bags - they are a gift in themselves. Their uses are almost infinite but here are just some ideas. Use them for keeping small items together such as jewellery or emergency sewing kit when travelling. Fill them with special chocolates, travel sized toiletries or miniature stationery items to make a small gift.
