    <title>Folksy : Silkky Cards</title>
    <link>https://folksy.com/shops/Silkky</link>
<description>I hand-paint images on silk, each one different, and inspired by many things - nature, my children, art deco, to name some. I fix the paints, to prevent fading, then carefully wrap them around foam, to add some depth, before fixing them to cards. They are suitable for all sorts of occasions, ranging from cheerful teddies to serene landscapes. Friends who have been given them have discovered that the painted panel can be carefully removed and re-used, either to put in a frame or use in another project.</description>
