I play with wax and often make a mess.

The Seaside Candle Co. is a small, independent venture run by me, Natalie in the seaside town of Southport.

I am passionate about wellbeing and am well aware of what creativity can do to help a frazzled mind. Having always enjoyed arts and crafts I decided to try working with wax and soon discovered that the methodical creative process of candle making was incredibly calming.

Making a few candles for family and friends quite quickly turned into making a lots of candles for anyone who might want one so I begun to post pictures on social media, built up a little following and began to make a few sales. I chose to open my shop with Folksy, as it is UK based (in the fabulous Steel City of Sheffield which happens to be my home town) and has crafting at its heart.

By day I drive a desk, and by evening and weekend I craft! I live with my partner, children, and a very chubby cat.
