Rara Makes is Karen Lindsay. A name is forged from her lifelong love of making and a name originally given to her by her sisters children. Karen's work is an outpouring of her passionate Christian faith, bears deep meaning and often touches the soul. Deeply inspired by the wonder of creation, her own life's stories and declarations, Karen creates in her own unique childlike way, often working on the floor and painting with her fingers! Working from her garden studio, a short drive from the stunning Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland, most of her creations fall into three categories - mixed media faith inspired prints, hand lettered Bible prints and hand decorated slate & vintage china plates.
