Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
Terms and Conditions
Below we have set out our Terms and Conditions. Please ensure that you read and understand these carefully before placing an order with us. By placing an order for the purchase of goods from Midastouch Jewels, and the confirmatory email from Midastouch Jewels confirming your order, you enter a contractual agreement with us on the following Terms and Conditions. This contract made in the United Kingdom and is be governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you require further clarification or information regarding any of our Terms and Conditions, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss these with you.
Payments and Orders
We accept orders from around the World and purchases may be subject to import duties. . If you have seen an item on our website which you would like to order, you can order it from our Etsy Shop or Folksy Shop.
Bespoke orders can also be requested and paid for through our online Etsy and Folksy shops or direct from Midastouch Jewels with a Wix enquiry. Once an order has been placed with us, you will receive an email confirming the details of your order. Payments are accepted through PayPal, iZettle or Stripe, these methods are widely accepted Payment Methods for purchases on the Internet.
Cash and card Payments in person can be made when visiting the Midastouch Jewels Workshop.
Delivery costs are based on our expectation of what it will cost to send products. Orders over £50 are posted free of charge. Midastouch Jewels reserves the right to change product prices and offers at our discretion, though once you add an item to your basket, that price is guaranteed for you. If you have any questions regarding our prices, please contact us directly.
Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise stated, Midastouch Jewels own the intellectual property rights in the website and material displayed on the website. All intellectual property rights are reserved.
A bespoke item of jewellery is one that is made from an original idea or design. It is a one off piece of jewellery made specifically for an event or a customer. Bespoke jewellery is also known as “custom.” Custom made pieces, personalised, custom jewellery, and bespoke pieces are all essentially the same thing: completely unique jewellery made that's only created once for a special occasion or person
1. Customers often ask me to make a piece of jewellery from old jewellery using their own ideas or ask me to design an item for them.
2. A Consultation request is made by you, this can be on line either via my Midastouch Jewels Wix website or one of the online Etsy or Folksy shops, We will then discuss your ideas, inspirations and requirements. Customers often ask if I can copy a piece of jewellery for them. This breeches intellectual property rights and cannot be done. I can however use the design as inspiration for a design of my own.
3. A design is created using your thoughts, ideas and inspiration and sent to you for your feedback.
4. If any stones are needed in the design you will need to choose these. I can give guidance on durable stones and source stones from respected suppliers in Birmingham or Hatton Garden, London.
When using stones from old jewellery these will be removed from the original jewellery with the greatest of care sadly sometimes old stones may already be damaged or be damaged during removal. Midastouch Jewels will not accept any responsibility for this.
Every effort will be taken to ensure the authenticity of gemstones and Diamonds will be tested for originality.
Precious metals are not always what they appear to be. UK metals will be hallmarked from one of the UK Assay Offices. Precious metals from other countries may have international hallmarks or not be marked at all. When metal is provided for recycling it will be tested and weighed being melted down.
Metals that are being recycled often contain solder and other impurities. Additional ‘clean’ gold or silver will be added to the melting pot to ensure the carat quality is maintained. This will be included in the price quoted.
5. A quotation will then be issued, this is a fixed price.
I will provide continuous updates on the progress of bespoke pieces using photographs and video clips. Discussions of progress and issues can be dealt with as soon as possible. Please remember that a piece of jewellery may not be very pretty during its construction!

Products can be exchanged or returned within 14 days of receipt if they are in perfect condition and in the original packaging. Postage will not be paid by Midastouch Jewels unless the item is faulty or damaged. Approximate costs for insured Jewellery is £4 to £9 in the UK.

Midastouch Jewels takes photographs of all bespoke pieces of jewellery and reserves the right to use these photos on the website for advertising.
Items from my shops may be available for immediate dispatch while other may have to be made to order. Delivery can take 2-4 weeks, especially where hallmarking is required. If you have any special requests, please make a note when ordering as I may be able to change the order to suit your needs. I will endeavour to deliver as soon as possible or notify you with a revised timescale.
Please note: Special delivery is not guaranteed for the next day on a Friday night or Saturday. Orders are subject to stock availability. Post by special delivery, in the UK, and packaging costs £9 at present depending on Royal Mail's future price increase. International postage masy tske significantly longer and vary in price.
The prices for any goods will be as quoted on the Etsy and Folksy Shops. If a Midastouch Jewels customer is quoted a bespoke price for products and postage, this will stand for a period of 28 days from the day of the quote. Prices are subject to change. Delivery costs are included for items over £50. Payment of the whole of the price for the goods you order must be received before your order can be accepted.
Refunds and Exchanges
You may return any product you have ordered from midastouchjewels.co.uk/ Etsy shop or Folksy shop within 14 days of receipt.
Bespoke, Custom, personalised and special orders will not be refunded or exchanged once the order has been accepted.
Any claim regarding damaged or defective goods must be made within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise.
To return any item please contact Midastouch Jewels via email or telephone. Please indicate the reason for the return, and whether you would prefer a replacement, exchange or a refund.
All items must be returned directly to: Midastouch Jewels, 19 Overlea Avenue, Deganwy, Conwy, LL31 9TA, Wales.
All goods returned for refund or exchange must be in a saleable condition with original packaging intact.
Please use an insured registered delivery method to return your order. The refund terms and conditions are for the online store only. Refunds will not be issued from the premises address. If the product is out of stock at the time we receive your return; we will offer an alternative product or a refund.
If you wish to wait until the item is back in stock, we will contact you with details of when you can expect delivery.
All online refunds will be completed within approximately 30 days of the return of the goods.
All refunds will be made according to the original method of payment.
Please note that we do not refund the cost of delivery except if your return is the result of an error made by Midastouch Jewels

BESPOKE ORDERS CANNOT BE CANCELLED ONCE THE ORDER HAS BEEN ACCEPTED
I reserve the right to cancel your order if:
I have insufficient stock to deliver our order within your time frame
The cost of delivery is too great e.g. some international orders
One or more of the goods you ordered was listed incorrectly due to a typographical error.
If I do cancel your contract, I will notify you by e-mail and I will credit your account as soon as possible. I will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
I will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you gave me for delivery at the time you made your order. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is placed. However, this is dependent on stock availability and orders can take up to 30 days to reach you.
Royal Mail is the carrier I use for UK deliveries at Midastouch Jewels. When signing for any goods from Midastouch Jewels, you are accepting that you have received the goods intact and undamaged. However, if you notify Midastouch Jewels of any damage by the next working day, product replacement may be possible depending if replacement is covered by Royal Mail. If packagind is damaged please photograph the items as this will help with any insurance claims. We recommend that - as soon as you have accepted delivery - your parcel is opened and checked immediately. You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you, they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver the goods you have ordered or for any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to the delivered goods that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other internal disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.
We are unable to offer exchanges or refunds on bespoke items, personalised or special orders. This means that we cannot provide refunds or exchanges on items that have been specially made to order for you, items that have been altered or personalised in any way, and products that are not normally stocked by Midastouch Jewels but have been ordered specially at your request. Bespoke or specially ordered products may only be returned if the goods are faulty or were supplied incorrectly. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We ask that customers understand that personalised items cannot be refunded on the grounds that a customer simply does not like a product.
You may return most new, non-special orders (a special order is made for you in your chosen size) or unworn items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item etc.). Earrings are not returnable for hygiene purposes.
You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, either simply email us at email@example.com with your name and order reference (found on your confirmation email) or the Etsy/Folksy Shop you purchased the item from. We will advise you on how to return your item. We’ll notify you via e–mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Information we collect in running and maintaining our website and associated Etsy and Folksy Shops- we may collect and process the following data about you:
1. Information provided voluntarily by you (for example, when you register for information).
2. Information that you provide when you communicate with us by any means.
We use the information that we collect from you to provide our services to you. In addition to this. we may use the information for one or more of the following purposes:
1. To provide information to you that you request from us relating to our products or services.
2. To provide information to you relating to other products that may be of interest to you. Such additional information will only be provided where you have consented to receive such information.
3. To inform you of any changes to our website, services or goods and products.
Storing your Personal Data
In operating our website, Etsy and Folksy Shops, it may become necessary to transfer data that we collect from you to locations outside of the European Union for processing and storing. By providing your personal data to us, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We do our utmost to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to make sure that your data is treated and stored securely. Unfortunately, the sending of information via the internet is not totally secure and on occasion such information can be intercepted. We cannot guarantee the security of data that you choose to send us electronically. Sending such information is entirely at your own risk.

1. In the event that we sell any or all of our business to the buyer.
2. Where we are legally required by law to disclose your personal information.
3. To enhance fraud protection and reduce the risk of fraud.
Buy with Confidence
I am sure you’ll love your purchase but, on the rare occasion that it’s not right, we’ll be more than happy to offer a refund or exchange. Simply return the unworn item to us in its original packaging and with all relevant receipts and documentation within 14 days of purchase. This offer does not include personalised items or special orders (see special orders above) and does not affect your statutory rights. Please allow 10 days for your return to be processed. For your returns please use the address below, but please be aware that you are responsible for the return postage costs unless you are returning due to a manufacturing error or fault with the item. We advise you to send all return items with Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or higher priced items with Special Delivery and keep all your receipts.
