A Mosaic Alley of creative design.

I am inspired by the mosaic materials I use to create mosaics that capture the essence of the image, creating movement and life to each finished piece. I like to experiment with mosaic techniques using glass, recycled materials and grout finishes. Having completed a Foundation degree and an Art and Design degree, I was challenged to experiment with materials and art mediums. This led me to explore the art of mosaicking and I found this a challenging and extremely satisfying art form. While mosaicking I am totally lost in creating art and forget about the world! Time really does fly when you are having fun! I work from home and I have taken over our family dining table with my mosaic projects. I have made a series of beach scenes using shingle for the beach and iridescent glass tiles for fishing boats and beach huts. These beach scenes are inspired by the beautiful and rugged Kent coast.

Buying from me

I have been designing and creating mosaic art having studied an art and design degree. I have found the art of mosaicking to be a challenging and extremely satisfying art medium. All of my mosaics are unique and I am always experimenting with new materials and ideas. Each mosaic is mounted on to a treated exterior weatherproofed plywood base. I use a range of materials including glass mosaic tiles, glass beads, glitter tiles, mirror tiles, shingle, etc.
