Hi, I’m B - the crochet and yarn addict behind Menmyhook. I make what I call accessories and gifts using the awesome yarn art that is Crochet.
Originally from London, I relocated to North Wales a couple of years ago with my two sons then 19 and 4. I worked for years in the city with probably reading on the tube as my only hobby.
Then a little over a year ago I spotted crocheted item that I just had to have but couldn’t buy and a beautiful friendship with hooks and yarn began. I knitted a little as a child but never really got into it and still can’t but crochet just clicked.
Today I make loads of things for fun and as commissions - everything from baby blankets to key rings and wall hangings. My absolute fav things to make are shawls and blankets.
While I believe you can’t really have to many shawls and blankets, I share my makes because I believe everyone should have a beautiful handmade thing at least once in their lives and crochet is a beautiful and versatile way to share. Also because I can’t draw and so now I can make pretty things!
