As a trained Holistic Therapist I have been interested in how our wellbeing is linked to everything that we do.
From how we think & act, to what we eat and how we move our bodies through exercise and interact with the the outside world such as nature.
I like to explore healthy lifestyle options. Decluttering our homes to allow us to re-connect with ourselves at a core level so that we may enjoy simpler yet wholesome lives that help us achieve our goals and be at our optimum best.
My journey to creating Meadowsweet Wellbeing as an online shop, came about last year whilst in lockdown. Driven from the fact that I have been unable to see clients. I felt a calling to share the joy of gift giving with carefully curated and thoughtful boxes to suit all budgets and tastes.
As a creative being, I have explored using products that are not only good for your wellbeing but also the planet. Most have been produced and created here in the UK such as the small artisan soap company out on the wilds of Dartmoor with more independent collaborations planned this year.
Each item can be recycled with some being made from old newspapers into pencils, bark off-cuts into mini candle holders. The box that they arrive in can be re-purposed by wrapping in paper or for children to make a mini house for their favourite toy! I try where possible to minimise the use of any plastic.
My crystals are all infused with healing & loving Reiki energy and each box is blessed before sending to the recipient to bring them harmony and hope.
We all know how wonderful it feels to receive a gift in the post that isn't a bill. We feel good when giving, equally when we receive. I hope each person who receives a box or package feels like their friend or family are wrapping them up in an invisible hug of goodness with a ton of love inside.
