I enjoy variety in all things, including what I create!

I trained in art and photography at college and over the years I exhibited my paintings of flora and fauna in galleries up and down the country and overseas. In 1991 I was one of 400 wildlife artists worldwide to be chosen to exhibit work in Nairobi to raise money for the Elephant foundation. I then went on to combine designing rubber stamps, and other craft items, with demonstrating them, teaching workshops and writing for magazines. My book on stamping was published in 2009.

I left the craft industry a few years ago and now I'm able to enjoy being creative with no boundaries on what I make. I love art journalling and mixed media as well as painting and drawing. Variety keeps my creativity fresh!

I share my home with two gorgeous cats called Hobo and Scrappy Doo who were both strays that adopted me! I enjoy spending time in my garden when the weather is fine...usually sitting and drawing rather than actually gardening! Faith is a big part of my life and I'm the Vision Champion at St Chad's where I'm also one of the Church puppeteers. Last year I became an Authorised Lay Minister.
