Rivendell Originals specialises in fused glass art and dichroic glass jewellery. Multiple layers of glass are cut by hand and are fused in the kiln, sometimes you want the glass to be smooth, and at other times you want it to retain some texture. One firing takes about 24 hours. Most pieces are fired twice or three times. Glass is an exciting medium to work in, I love to open the kiln and see how the piece has turned out! I use only the best quality handmade art glass and dichroic glass to produce original, colourful and striking designs. Each of my pieces are unique, and are all made in my home studio in Symington, Biggar.All of my home design pieces are made to bring a little bit a colour to your home. Each design is unique, from a sun catcher to a spoon rest; they are all individual pieces of glass art.
