I Kim Burnett am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop.
When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from Folksy. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button on Folksy, I will receive your username and email address.
The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
• With Folksy to comply with my obligations.
• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
• To comply with legal or tax obligations.
I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.
You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.

I love to use fabric and other items that other people no longer want so the majority of my items are made from reclaimed and recycled material or unwanted remnants. This means that many of them are one of a kind and will not be repeated, ensuring you are being something very special and individual.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
Returning items for refund or exchange:
Please let me know within 14 days of receiving the goods that you would like to return them. All return postage and associated costs are payable by the customer, cost is dependant on the postal rates in your country. Refunds of the full amount will be paid on receipt of the returned goods providing they have not been damaged or altered in any way. If you are returning items then please make sure items are clearly marked as goods being returned. Any customs charges applied to items being returned if they are not clearly marked will be taken from the refund amount due. Highly personalised custom work such as embroidery with specific names and/or dates on cannot be returned.
UK - Items sent in the UK are not considered lost by Royal Mail until 15 working days have passed. Please give your item plenty of time once I have emailed that it has been sent. I will offer a refund on one-off items or replacement on those I can make again if it doesn't arrive.
International - Unless you have asked me for tracked postage, I can only offer a refund on the item cost. Please allow plenty of time for the item to get to you; it can take up to 5 weeks for delivery internationally to reach it's destination.
