Artist and printmaker living in the beautiful Scottish Borders

I am inspired by the stunning landscape and wildlife of the British countryside., particularly the Borders and Northumberland. There's no better start to the day then heading out with my two dogs for a long walk, through muddy fields, quiet woodlands or along one of the many lovely beaches in the area.

I love to draw both in pencil and in pen and ink - my favourite drawings often evolve into lino cuts or screenprints, sometimes both. I tend to focus on animal portraits, my aim is to capture the fleeting expression, the animation and the character of the animal rather than an exact photographic style replica. I am passionate about conservation and aim for my work to celebrate those beautiful creatures that we have the privilege to share the planet with. I aim to create and package all of my items with as little impact on the environment as possible.
