Using an ancient Japannese method of printing.

HI I'm Jane and I live on the beautiful Island of Anglesey just off the North Wales coast. I'm surrounded by beaches, forests and mountains.

I've been using the Gyotaku method of printing now for about 4 years. In this time I've had a go at printing fish, crab, lobster, leaves of all shapes and sizes as well as seaweeds and shells. My husband owns a restaurant business and works directly with local fishermen so my marine subjects are all locally caught.

I'm just starting to use digital methods now to translate some of my prints into other items like tea towels, postcards and cushions.

Home is with my husband David and our two dogs. We are also parents to five adult children and have a wonderful grandson too.
