What inspires me? I’ve loved stained glass since I was a small child visiting churches on family holidays – the colours, the brightness and the abstract forms. Sometimes they tell a story, sometimes they don’t need to. The sun shining through a beautiful piece of glass just brightens my day.
I love to work with stained glass using a traditional lead process. Using a kiln for fused glass has allowed me to work with a more tactile medium. I am currently exploring the techniques of incorporating my own pot melt glass designs into my work.
I’m not too good with uniformity – so each piece is unique, probably with some wobbly edges to reflect the imperfections of a beautiful piece of glass that has movement and life.....I also love Crochet!!!

Buying from me

I am a member of a group of Artists called "The Marsh Art Collective" from Romney Marsh on the south coast. Through friendship & a common belief, art has provided us with important opportunities for creative well being.
I love all things glass - colours, brightness & abstract forms. Sun shining through coloured glass brightens my day. I work in my "Glass Shed" studio producing individual fused and stained glass pieces - each is unique reflecting the imperfections of a beautiful piece of glass.
