To decorate I kantha-stitched 5 scraps of fabric, some red lace and three pieces of lace cut from larger damaged vintage pieces. I also added a Suffolk puff, with a linen button and two antique mother of pearl buttons. To create the pouch I folded the stitched fabrics into three and sewed up the sides. I haven't added a fastening to the pouch as the weight of the flap keeps it closed. The pouch is 14.5cm wide and 9.5cm tall (5.75in x 3.75in) approximately.
