Hello! I'm Liz and I'm the one woman band behind Bluebell Love.

I work in my small studio space on Dartmoor.....where my Shih Tzu Bessie keeps me company.

I get all of my fabric inspiration from my surrounding Devonshire countryside and mixed with my love of colour is what has resulted in Bluebell Love. My fabric designs feature wildflowers, Seagulls, Rabbits, Beach Huts and other Devon delights. Once I have finished a design I give it a name - Check out my shop to see what they're called.

My Process:
I love transforming white cotton into colourful gifts by using a mixture of screen and block printing. My fabric printing process starts from rough drawings in my notebook that I then either carve out of lino to create individual stamps or create a new screen. These screens and stamps are then repeatedly used to create the overall fabric design. The process that I use to make my fabrics is what makes every finished item unique and individual.

My Products:
Once I have printed my fabric, I then slice and dice and sew it all up! I mainly use my poor overworked sewing machine but also finish a lot of items off with a bit of hand sewing. My products include lavender bags, purses, cushions, notebooks and more.

Product care:
I print onto 100% cotton that is carefully heat set when finished so that my prints can be machine washed at 30C. However, some of my products wouldn't be happy in a washing machine (e.g. lavender bags) so please do check my individual listings for care details.
