Instead of the traditional silk, I have strung them on high performance nylon, which is meant to be a little stronger and less inclined to stretch. I have knotted between each pearl, a classic technique that ensures a good drape and also security in the unlikely event that the thread does break. The small beads make the bracelet quite dainty, so it works really well on a slim wrist, but I have added a silver-plated extension chain to give flexibility of size and it should sit well on any wrist between 6ins (15.2cms) and 7ins (17.8cms) in circumference. The bracelet is finished with a silver plated trigger clasp. It measures 18.5cms (7.2ins) without the extension chain and 20.5cms (8ins) when the chain is fully utilised.
