Inspired by the ever changing colours of the landscape and seascape, and lucky enough to live on an island, Athene has been designing and making jewellery professionally since 1996, when she graduated from the Cass with a degree in silversmithing and jewellery. Now running a small team of three from her studio in Guernsey, she finds inspiration from the natural world - the colours of the sunset, of leaves as they turn, of shells found on the beach. The palette of nature really can't be beaten. Along with her three assistants Jess, Eleanor and Sophia, Athene produces a wide range of styles, all individually made with care and attention to detail.
We only buy recycled gold and silver, to use for all of our pieces.
