CRAFT SUPPLIES & GIFTS, HANDMADE YARNS, JEWELLERY AND DECOR

I make gradient yarns, hand dyed yarns and stitch markers, as well as a range of jewellery, artwork and home decor items. I also have a selection of commercially produced craft supplies to complement my range of handmade items.

I have worked for most of my career in the Disability Sector, as a support worker and as a manager. I finished work in 2015 because of a worsening of my own disability and since then I have spent my time playing with yarn and threads, and various crafts.

I began making my own gradient yarns from polyester threads because I liked the sheen and feel of mercerised cotton yarns, but not the “hardness”. My polyester yarns feel much softer and have a beautiful drape, and I think they are perfectly suited making clothing and decorative items.

In the summer of 2017 I had the idea to combine all the things I love into one, and open my own online shop, selling my own range of hand-wound gradient and solid colour polyester yarns, and hand made stitch markers, as well as other craft related items.
