Weaving magic one piece of jewellery at a time

There is Magic in the air! Not the movie sort, of course, but the ordinary, every day sort. Found all around, if you care to look: in gardens, the laughter of children, the purring of cats, the depths of a hot cup of coffee on a cold day and between the pages of a good book. This is the Magic of Life. Every day Magic, that makes the trials and tribulations of Life more bearable.

My name is Nancy and I believe in Magic....and Fairies! You can find me creating magic in my studio (ehm, kitchen!) using copper, silver and sometimes beautiful beads too. I wave my wand and beautiful jewellery appears. OK, maybe I'm taking this a little far. For 'wand' you should read 'pliers' and for 'appears' read 'many hours of bending, weaving and hammering wire'.

I discovered my Magic during my darkest time, when I was desperate for a bit of joy. Quite by accident, my daughter, then aged 7, was given a tiara making kit. Of course, I had to do my best to make it. Hunting for a makeshift tool kit and all the beads I'd dropped, I found it... Magic! From then on I was hooked. I spent my evenings weaving and coiling wire and finding my creative voice. Time passed, my abilities grew and the dark times receded. My beautiful children convinced me I should share my magic with the world and so, Adorn Wire Studio was born.

These days I make jewellery inspired by the magic all around me, you remember, the Ordinary sort. I like to think it's going to be worn by Fairies and Princesses: people like you and me, who find Magic in the ordinary things. Now I shall tell you a secret! Magic creates Magic! Did you know this already? The Fairies and Princesses who buy and wear my jewellery allow me to make more beautiful jewellery, my children to participate in music and sport and the dark times to be truly behind us. Wholeheartedly, we thank you. Without you none of this would be possible.
