2DLeatherCraft was born in a fast paced world, where many traditional skill are fading away and being lost. Big business only worries about profits, and the love and care placed in making the product is lost.
My aim's and hopes are that I can become a link to the past and ensure these skills are not lost forever. Working with natural materials like leather links us to the past as far back as the cavemen who had to learn as they made clothing and other items.
8% of carbon emissions comes from the meat industry the by-products such as the hides are thrown into land fill, by purchasing natural sustainable materials like leather which has a long life span ensures that we can all contribute to the environment.
All of my materials are sourced within a 30 mile radius to enable me to be carbon neutral in the manufacturing, 90% of my products are crated by hand with no mechanical intervention.
