Safety information
Caring for your jewellery: To keep your silver, copper and brass jewellery from oxidising (going very dark) don’t allow your jewellery to come into contact with cleaning products, chlorinated water, perfumes or lotions. Give your metal jewellery a regular buff with a jewellery polishing cloth to maintain shine or use an old toothbrush and some silver polishing cream then buff (protect your sea-glass from the cream by covering it with masking tape). To revive the vibrancy and translucence of your sea-glass, simply apply a miniscule smidge of baby oil onto the glass with a lint-free cloth (this will not tarnish your metal) then wipe away any excess.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
A perfect, luscious, brown-beer colour sea-glass nugget is captured and suspended within a forged sterling silver swivel setting. It is hung on a necklace of beautiful Japanese Miyuki seed beads of colours which graduate from pale mustard yellow through to amber brown and rich, deep earthy brown, strung on a strong nylon-coated steel wire. You could even wear the necklace separately from the pendant if you wished. If you look very closely you'll see words etched on the silver setting, fragments of poetry about the seashore and the whole piece is finished off with a beautiful handmade silver closure. The necklace measures approx' 43cm (17inches) in total from end to end and is presented in a pretty little bag, wrapped in tissue and delivered in a box with care instructions and my own imagery.
The shape of this sea-glass implies that it might be the worn remnant of a glass bottle neck. With its time-worn aesthetic, this item is handmade and one-of-a-kind, from the Tamar Mudlark collection, with sea-glass found by myself on local Devon and Cornwall shorelines. Please note; the other 2 necklace-pendants in this style, may also still be available to purchase here.
Your necklace pendant will be sent via Royal Mail tracked 48hr service (UK).
