About this item
The perfect gift for people who love to write & sketch. The journal cover, made in a lovely up-cycled green multicoloured vintage Welsh tweed, features a pretty pale blue felt tree laden with green leaves, all hand stitched. The journal cover comes with a 160 plain page notebook & is refillable with an A5 notebook, sketch pad or diary (spine 1.5 cm/half an inch or less). To keep your place the journal cover has a convenient green-edged linen ribbon bookmark, & is closed with an organic elastic loop & pale blue corozo button. Lined in green European linen. The vintage green multicoloured tweed was up-cycled from a tunic woven and made by Curlew Weavers in Ceredigion. The journal cover carries an authenticating label from the mill. Curlew Weavers is one of the few remaining woollen mills still operational in Wales today. I love their use of colour and textures in these vintage tweeds so I purchase and up-cycled them whenever I can. Any accessories shown in photographs are not included in the sale of this item. Designed and handmade by Deborah Shah-Smith in west Wales. Approximate dimensions: 22 cm x 16 cm x 2.5 cm.
