Do you love unique, minimalist jewellery? This barrel style necklace has been handmade with different wires, is stylish and easy to wear. I have created this necklace by making a barrel shape with recycled sterling silver wire and 14ct filled gold wire. I then flattened round silver wire and hammered it for textured. This has been wrapped and soldered to the barrel frame and polished. To finish, it hangs from a sterling silver chain. (The gold filled wire has been created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a layer of base metal). It has been designed by myself and is part of a small collection of similar necklaces. I really wanted a simple but interesting 3D necklace to wear everyday, so created some barrel style pendants. The necklace will arrive in a black jewellery box, complete with simple care instructions and a small square of silver polish.
