Add a touch of modern sophistication to your coffee table with these stylish Tunisian crochet leaf coasters!
Somewhere between traditional crochet and knitting, Tunisian crochet is really having a moment amongst crafters because of the beautiful, versatile stitches the technique produces. Many of the stitches, including the "simple stitch" which is used in these coasters, looks delicate, but is surprisingly dense, which makes it perfect for protecting tables from hot drinks.
The leaf shape of the coasters is contemporary and elegant, whilst the little running "dashes" of the simple stitch creates texture and is truly eye-catching. No one will ever guess it's crochet!
Need to know:
The coasters have been blocked with stiffening spray to help them retain their shape.
Please note that the linen coloured coasters are made from a cotton and acrylic blend yarn.
Each coaster is approx 14 cm long and 11 cm wide at its widest point.
Hand wash. If machine washing, a delicates bag is recommended.
