About this item
Towards the mountains, like cranes A peaceful semi-abstract landscape featuring White Crane birds flying over layered green grass and mountain, inspired by nature, freedom and calm. Medium: Acrylic on stretched canvas Mont Marte Double Thick Canvas Signature 40.6 x 50.8cm (16 x 20in) Style: Contemporary landscape / Abstract nature painting / Bird art Newly painted Unframed and ready to hang Carefully protected with suitable surface covering, bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box. "Towards the Mountains, Like Cranes" is an original green landscape painting created with layered colour and expressive brushwork on canvas. Rather than showing the mountains literally, the painting uses shifting bands of colour to suggest distant land, mist, water and open space. I created this artwork from my love of green, nature and quiet open spaces. The title reflects the idea of moving forward with purpose and grace, like cranes travelling towards distant mountains.
